Ingredients
- ¼ pack dry yeast
- 1 ½ dl lukewarm water
- 1 clove garlic
- ½ x red onion
- 2 tbsp fresh coriander
- 200 g vegan mince
- 3 ½ dl plain white flour
- 2 tbsp water
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- ½ x avocado
- ½ x tomato
- ¼ x romaine lettuce
- 2 tbsp plain white flour
- ½ tsp salt
Method
- Make hamburger bread by mixing together flour, dry yeast, salt and lukewarm water in a bowl. Knead the dough for about 10 minutes and leave it to rise for 45-60 minutes.
- Start making the burgers in the meantime. Mince the garlic, coriander and half of the red onion and add to a bowl together with the veggie mince, water, flour, salt and pepper. Mix and shape the mince into burgers. Cook them over medium-high heat in a frying pan on both sides, until the burgers have a golden brown color.
- Shape the dough into burger breads and let them rise for about 30 minutes. Bake in the middle of the oven along with the patties at 200 degrees for 15 minutes.
- Mash the avocado (feel free to add a little garlic, salt and pepper to make guacamole), and slice the tomato and the remaining red onion.
- Serve the burgers in homemade burger buns with the vegetables and lettuce!
