Low Carb Mac & Cheese

Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp cream cheese
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 250 g cheese
  • 150 g diced bacon
  • 150 g broccoli
  • 150 g cauliflower
  • 3 dl heavy cream

Method

  1. Place in the middle of the oven and bake until the cheese is melted and golden.
  2. Top with fried bacon and grated cheese.
  3. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Pour over the white cheese sauce and mix it into the vegetables.
  5. Drain the water from the freshly pulled cauliflower and broccoli and pour them into an ovenproof dish (approx. 15 X 30 cm size).
  6. Add the cream cheese and cream to a saucepan and whisk until it begins to simmer, add the stir in 150 grams of grated cheese and set it aside.
  7. To a pan, fry the bacon.
  8. Boil water and cut the cauliflower and broccoli into small florets and place them to the water for about 2 minutes.
  9. Set the oven to 200 degrees celsius (top and bottom heat).
