Ingredients
- 3 slices gluten-free bread
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- ½ clove garlic
- ½ tsp sea salt flakes
- ½ x mozzarella
- 1 x tomato
- ½ handful fresh basil
Method
- Bruschetta is a lovely Italian antipasti that is originally grilled bread rubbed in with garlic and topped with olive oil and salt. You can eat the bread as it is or choose different toppings. Our favorite is with tomato, garlic, basil and mozzarella. Feel free to use dry and / or stale bread for this dish.
- Cut bread / baguette into 2 centimeter thick slices. It is best to grill them, but you can use a frying pan as well. Or use the oven. When the bread is done, rub the bread well with garlic before you have a few drops of olive oil on each piece of bread. Sprinkle with salt.
- Cut up tomato, diced mozzarella and mince fresh basil. Mix together to a bowl and place over the bread. Grind pepper as topping and serve.
