In this cool Christmas wreath, we have used our wonderful bun dough recipe to make buns in all shapes, and assembled them into a wreath. Let the Christmas Sprit arrive!
Ingredients
- 150 g butter
- 950 g plain white flour
- 5 ½ dl milk
- ½ tsp salt
- 150 g sugar
- 25 g yeast
- 1 tsp cardamom
- 1 x eggs
- 1 x eggs
Method
- Cut the butter into small cubes and leave it at room temperature.
- Put the rest of the ingredients in a bowl and knead for 10 minutes. The milk is added cold.
- Knead in the butter at the end, little by little. This should take 5-10 minutes.
- Cover the dough and let it rise until doubled in size.
- Line a baking tray with baking paper. Form buns into various shapes; buns, pretzels, saffran buns, cinnamon rolls or any other way you want. Cover and leave the wreath to rise for about 40-60 minutes
- Brush with egg. Bake the wreath in the middle of the oven at 210 degrees for about 15-20 minutes.
