This is the perfect salad – tasty, colorful and so delicious. This can be served as lunch, starter or a sidedish. Use assorted mini tomatoes (yellow, red, orange). You can use honeydew melon instead of cantaloupe melon. Mini mozzarella balls can be substituted with regular mozzarella, and you can use parma ham instead of serrano ham. Make this dish vegetarian without serrano ham. To taste: maldonsalt, freshly grounded black pepper, oliveoil and balsamic syrup
Ingredients
- 12 x mini tomatoes
- 4 slices serrano ham
- 6 x mini mozzarella
- 75 g cantaloupe melon
- 6 x fresh basil
Method
- Rinse tomatoes and basil in water. Divide some of the tomatoes in two. Keep some whole. Cut melon in small pieces.
- Arrange the tomatoes, serrano ham, mini mozzarella balls and basil on a platter. Drizzle with oliveoil and balsamic syrup, and sprinkle with maldonsalt and freshly ground black pepper. Serve with bread or baguette.
